COLUMBIA, SC, April 23, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Ira London Span, President / Chief Executive Officer of GRIDS Security Services, LLC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership, and excellence in law enforcement.

As the Chief Executive Officer and President of GRIDS Security Services, LLC, Ira London Span is responsible for managing operations and delivering security services. Mr. Span has trained more than 150 employees and 3,500 law enforcement personnel. He also implemented a training program that encourages promotions from within the company. He became involved in his profession because of his experience in Law Enforcement and Security and he wanted his clients to have the opportunity to have a security force that will provide a strong security presence with law enforcement knowledge and training.
Mr. Span has an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Kaplan University. In addition to his formal education, he has the following Certifications, Certified Basic Law Enforcement Instructor, Certified At Scene Accident Investigator, Certified Bus Accident Investigator, Certified Knifed Edged Weapons Instructor, Certified Straight Baton Instructor, Certified Pressure Point Control Technique Instructor (PPCT), Certified Firearms Instructor, Certified Defensive Tactics Instructor, Certified Oleoresin Capsicum Instructor, and Certified Radar Instructor.
