David Britton Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who Executive, Professional and Entrepreneurial Registry
David Britton has 40 years of professional experience
LONDON, UK, April 30, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- David Britton, Executive Head of Humanities for Skinners' Company's School for Girls and Consulting Group Leader for Lewisham Council, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of his career.
For the past 22 years of David Britton's 40-year professional career, he has been teaching religious education, supervising the religious education department and overseeing five employees at Skinners' Company's School for Girls. He has appeared on BBC TV and been interviewed on BBC Radio in connection with fundraising for Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital, and he assisted the committee which organised local celebrations for Queen Elizabeth's Silver Jubilee. Mr. Britton was originally trained to be a priest and previously conducted door to door, street and telephone interviews in London for a market research company. He attributes his success to his dedication, determination, education and organizational skills.
In 1996, Mr. Britton received his Master's Degree in Philosophy from Lancaster University. He completed his research studies thesis on religious tolerance and commitment in Islam and Christianity. The thesis broke new ground on issues relating to the strength of religious belief and mutual tolerance of other traditions. He is a member of Mensa International and is a Church of England (lay) Reader.
