These were the questions posed by the mother-and-daughter team of inventors from Sydney Australia prior to launching their novel dating site. In an effort to nudge dating out of cyberspace and back into the real world Chick 'n' Chit based their concept on the simple act of handing someone a business card - in this case a dating card called a "chit". When you join Chick 'n' Chit you receive a pack of chits in the mail with your personal ID number printed on each one. You then simply hand a chit to anyone you'd like to meet anywhere in the world. There is no need to say or do anything else except wait for an e-mail. After asking over 2000 people, "would you log on and check out someone who handed you a chit", so far no one has said they wouldn't log on. With these statistics you can be fairly sure that if you hand out enough chits, you are likely to get a response. Dating has just moved back into the real world and it doesn't get much easier than this. So, would you log on?
